Like a modern-day Marco Polo, I love to explore the unknown. I thrive in early-stage or reinvention projects filled with big challenges, high-uncertainty, user research and the need for radical innovation.

With the user as my guide, I continuously ask better questions with a child-like curiosity until I uncover new paths of innovation. Once found, I continue exploring those paths with a lean, experimentation mindset wearing the "inventor" hat. 

Inventor 💡

When I was a child I decided to be an inventor. Over the years I have honed the ability to cross-pollinate different ideas, use lateral thinking,  and push creative ideation with groups. These skills, mixed with a sound design thinking process, are what spur creative innovation. 

Like any inventor, I'm not afraid to try something that has never been done before (and may fail). I don't see experiments as failures, rather the learnings from each experiment are a part of the necessary journey. 

Flow Like Water 🌊

In every early-stage project you will run into challenges that threaten progress. Lack of resources, missing skill sets, internal blockers to name a few. Where most stall, my positive determination and grit strengthen.

I use a creative, hacker-like mentality to flow around challenges and continue to build momentum. This has resulted in me developing a wide-range of diverse skills required to get the job done. 

Leader and Communicator 🚀

An idea turns into a movement only when others rally behind it and take action. My fourth superpower is my ability to emotionally connect, communicate a clear sense of purpose, and inspire others to take action. 

I'm able to adapt this both internally and externally with customers. In any venue: large crowds, small teams or one-on-one meetings. In any format: writing, video or audio.
